All of the images below were taken mid-day.  I took them mid-day because that is the time I was there!

Having said that, it's too bad the LX5 doesn't slip into my pocket like the S90. But if it were built for pocketability Panasonic probably would have omitted the hot shoe and the ergonomic tacky-surface grip. I just took delivery of the new Panasonic LX5, which just this past week began shipping. This was a real splurge for me as with a list price of $500 it costs more than the Olympus E-520 dSLR I bought last year including two kit lenses. I spent two more days of skiing with the S90 in my parka pocket. Both days were at Windblown XC Ski Center in New Ipswich, NH and within eyeshot of snowcovered Mt. Monadnock. So far I have been shooting the highest quality and largest resolution JPEG files.  I'll check out RAW files sometime in the future.

My years of serious camera-carrying remind me of a barbell: A heavy interest in the early years and a heavy interest now, but pretty lightweight in the middle.

My enthusiasm was keen in the late 1960s and 1970s. I shot a lot of Kodachromes during trips to Europe and the American West, and summers on Cape Cod.
